What you’re witnessing is the birth of a underground legend. TrippJones, NYC rapper, writer and visionary has just dropped a new record, produced by President Evil, in Break Down/Strangle Chords. The song is the first single off his first full length solo album thats dropping on his contemporaries’ Show Me The Body‘s label, Corpus, this Friday.
Frequent Corpus collaborator, President Evil, produced the record, while veteran record producer/ engineer, The 83rd (Angel Haze, Cam’Ron), mastered it.
There’s something different in the air with this project. The warmth, analog and and soul behind the gritty production with Tripp’s vocals and lyrics, meshed with the rawness of Ceno’s vision in directing and producing the official music video makes for one hell of a final product that we can’t stop watching.
