I AINT LYING: MISSISSIPPI FOLKTALES KICKS OFF TESTIFY MAY VIDEOS

This May, we’re bringing you William Ferris’ 1975 documentary on the Mississippi delta’s community, music, folk tales, and oral traditions. Specifically in Leland and Rose Hill, Mississippi, Ferris captured some of the most candid moments on front porches, in juke joints and churches. Documenting African Americans talking about their personal life experiences, singing the songs close to their heart, and telling jokes and tales that move their soul, I Aint Lying is a must-watch.

Very cool.

Check that out along with Show Me The Body, Eartheater, Bjork, DJ Slugo, Hank Wood and the Hammerheads and more…all in TESITFY May 18 Video Playlist below!
